Construction appears to be under way near the Jurassic Park River Adventure for a new Midway Games area.
For the life of me I can’t seem to grasp why the parks, particularly Universal and SeaWorld seem to throw so much weight into these low grade games.
Sure, if they make money hand over fist, then yep, we get it. But, have you ever seen anyone using them?
OK, that’s a bit harsh, let’s rephrase that question: Have you ever seen more than one or two people using them?
If like me, you answer ‘No’, you will be as baffled as I am why they even care to pull the canvas up each morning!
As Homer famously says on his family ride in Universal, “they won’t let you die so long as you’ve got a nickel in your pocket!”
The new area is hopefully part of the ‘up-rooting’ process of those awful games that drive everyone nuts over by the Wizarding World of Harry Potter entranceway.
Rumours that the area will give way to part of the development process to link up the Islands of Adventure Park to Universal Studio’s soon to be open Diagon Alley would make it necessary to knock the coconut shy junk out of the way. Pity they found a new home in Jurassic Park then!
