I don’t know about you, but Hollywood Studios is such a weird theme park.
Not enough thrill rides for adults, and definitely not enough for younger kids.
As far as identity goes, this park needs a makeover and fast!
Indiana Jones? Not cool anymore! Great show, don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about that, but Indiana Jones? What young kid has even heard of him?
Star Wars, is ok though, not only does it survive as an icon, but Disney have bought the rights to new movies, so that will do well in the future!
Lights, Cameras, Motors? Amazing show! But, have you ever noticed that this is one of the very few (can’t think of another right now!) Disney attractions that does not have a Disney theme whatsoever!
Muppets? Not really Disney.
As for kids rides, Hollywood Studios must be the equivalent of ‘Stroller Bound Hell’ for any under 4. Under 8’s don’t get much of a better deal, but you can’t use the stroller’s 3 point strap system to keep them in one place!
Apart from Toy Story Midway Mania, there’s little beyond the muppet show and the Little Mermaid! Ha! If the little guy has been playing up, make him go in there that should do the trick!
Cars Land is the answer and Disney must surely know it!
It has everything, it has adult/kid appeal, an essential aspect of a great Disney attraction (think Thunder Mountain!)
If the Cars Land rumours are to be believed, Hollywood Studios could eventually lift itself off fourth spot and race past Epcot in the attendance league postions, but you may have to wait a long time before it opens!
